Asurion Asia Pacific Strengthens Presence In Japan With The Appointment Of New Country Manager

SINGAPORE, 4 August 2004 - Asurion Asia Pacific, the leading provider of value-added solutions to the wireless industry, has appointed Mr. Takashi Kido as the Country Manager of Asurion Japan. As country manager, he will be responsible for overseeing the business operations and driving the growth of the company in Japan.

Prior to joining Asurion Japan, Mr. Kido was the CEO of DoubleClick Japan. Before that he was the Supply Chain Management consultant at i2 Technologies and was responsible for many supply chain improvement projects. Mr. Kido has also served as the Business Process Reengineering and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Consultant at KPMG to Consumer Package Goods companies. He was also previously with McDonald's for 20 years, responsible for developing its marketing strategies and overseeing its supply chain management.
