Asurion Completes Acquisition Of Lumitrend
NASHVILLE 21 June 06 - Asurion Corporation, a leading global provider of enhanced services and specialty insurance products to the wireless industry, announced today the recent acquisition of Lumitrend, an innovator of mobile applications with over 30 carrier partners worldwide. Lumitrend's products include CellBackup, the only mobile backup solution to automatically protect contacts, ringtones, pictures, wallpapers and more. The acquisition officially closed on May 26, 2006.
The Lumitrend products will integrate seamlessly with Asurion's, enabling Asurion to immediately offer complete protection of both the wireless handset and subscriber data to new and existing clients.
